Spring cleaning is an instinctive task for most of us. As the holidays end and we start looking forward to spring, something within us tells us to get our homes in order by cleaning, organizing, and purging things we’ve hoarded over the winter.

But who says spring cleaning is limited to the inside of your house? The outside of your home could use a little refreshing after a cold, dreary winter, too!

Here are 10 outdoor spring cleaning project ideas that will drastically improve the appearance of your home, and, more importantly, will provide much-needed maintenance and care that will save you money in years to come.

1. Gutter Cleaning

Spring is the ideal time for gutter cleaning, since the majority of the leaves and debris accumulate during the fall and winter. Pollen is at its highest during spring, making a mess in your gutters and downspouts if they aren’t properly cleaned.

Plus, pests and critters are looking for places to build homes during spring, so getting your gutters cleaned out will help prevent an infestation in your home.
